Nottingham Heritage Vehicles G129NRC, Hucknall Bus Depot, 10-01-2016
The last bus purchased new by South Notts as their 129, this Olympian passed to NCT when they bought the company. It later served with Paul Winson, who donated it to Nottingham Heritage Vehicles on withdrawal. It is seen carrying Winsons livery, but with a destination display familiar to many South Notts travellers over the years.
After this event, it was announced that panelling work and a repaint would be taking place shortly on this bus, so was the last time it is publicly seen in these colours. It has indeed since been restored to original appearance, including original style windscreen, and was launched at the celebrations of the 50th Anniversary of the end of trolleybus operation in Nottingham.
