8089+8779+8744, Dublin Connolly, 18-08-2004
The highlight of the day! Arriving at 1510, I have no idea what this working was - whether it was an additional, or a replacement for a failed train. It departed northward empty fairly soon after arrival.
Edited to add : Thanks to Martin Baumann, I now have more information! 220 had failed at Drogheda on the 0935 ex Dublin. 111 was prepared to work the 1230 ex Belfast, but failed on shed, so 8089 and set were a substitute for a substitute! It had worked the 0935 from Derry to Belfast that morning.
