Broad Marsh Bus Station Nottingham, 25-07-2017
The former bus entrance to the facility. I've been through here countless times, as my first job was travelling on buses assessing concessionary fare use. At the time, Trent Buses and NCT had elctronic machines, and thus required a lower level of checking purely for the free passes in Gedling and the city, whereas Barton Transport and South Notts used mechanical machines (Setright and Almex respectively), and thus needed all buses checking reguarly. As a result, I sepnt a lot of time on buses to the delights of Long Eaton, Loughborough and other assorted delightful places!
Of course, the roar of Leopards and Atlanteans has long since gone, and the lighting and facilities have been improved since my time - but I still have some memories of the laughs we had there.
