TrentBarton 477, Victoria Bus Station Nottingham, 13-08-2018
An unlikely survivor in the current network is the 141. This used to run hourly to Clay Cross via a complicated route including Hucknall, Bestwood Village, Ravenshead, Blidworth, Rainworth, Mansfied and Teversal. I travelled on it many times, mostly on Leyland Nationals, in the course of my work surveying pass use in the late 1980s, and even then it was on the edge in terms of viability. The northern bit was split off a while ago, but the Nottingham - Sutton section survives, perhaps helped by serving new housing to the north east side of Hucknall where there were green fields in my time!
Solo 477 provides a little in vehicle variety as it arrives to drop off in the bus station.
