Dublin Bus SG127, Amiens St Dublin, 13-05-2018
In older days, the main passenger ferries to Holyhead departed from Dun Laoghaire, with a convenient railway station and indeed an on-pier platform. Times change, and the low cost airline model has all but destroyed the foot passenger market across the Irish Sea. All ferries from Dublin now depart from Dublin Port, and as a result Dublin Bus provide the 53, with variations, from the city centre to the port. As will be seen later, the ferry companies also provide services specifically match to their times.
SG153 is seen working the 1100 from Talbot St, the first journey of the day.
