Portlaoise (Bus), 26-05-2017

A tip off that the Carlow GAA mega-rear was on the Portlaoise shorts for Kavanaghs, so a wander into town to get a decent shot of it. A welcome surprise was the Dublin Coach Setra in Dundrum shuttle livery, and even the Bus Éireann was not Expressway red!

After fluffing the shot earlier in the week, a call from my wife indicated that that this special liveried bus was on the short workings of the 735 this morning. I arranged to go down and see it on it's return from Dublin, assuming they didn't change vehicle! A nervous wait ensued, as it failed to show when scheduled, but there must have been problems either in Dublin or on the N7 as it arrived about 40 minutes late, with a similar delay showing on the Bus Éireann service to Limerick, although Dublin Coach were running to time.

Carrying a mega-rear for Carlow Colts GAA, the Setra drops off as near as it can get to the stop due to parked cars.
