Carrying a destination I saw many, many times when boarding at Henrietta St after visiting my grandparents, this AEC Renown looks immaculate after restoration.
Sadly, it was another victim of the fire in 2007, and it was generally believed that the only survivor of the Nottingham series was the one in use as living accomodation in Colwick.
Happily, that proved not to be the case, and 366 has been rescued from a field in Essex, and is now safely stored at the Hucknall depot of Nottingham Heritage Vehicles, and is awaiting restoration. It has also turned out that a further example may be in Holland, having been converted to open top layout.
