Allover Ads & Mega Rears
I'm not overly a fan of allover ads on buses. I subscribe to the view of former Wellglade Marketing Director Melvyn Hopwood : "If the side of a bus is that good for advertising, let's use it to advertise our own services!". Nonetheless, I realise that for some companies they are a useful source of revenue, although why any organisation would carry advertising for a direct competitor in the transport market - eg car sales - is beyond me, especially when it degrades their own customers experience with blurry views through so-called contravision! I don't think Dunnes Stores would plaster their buildings with adverts for Tesco, for example.

A third Citaro was this 2006 vehicle, in use with JJ Kavanagh on a local service between Newbridge and Kilcullen. I thought I'd missed it as it turned off the R445, but caught it as it waited time before re-entering service.
The overall ad seems more suited to use on Waterford town services, and would appear to leave the interior somewhat dark - but at least it isn't advertising a competitor!
