Stagecoach 27182, Victoria Bus Station Nottingham, 25-07-2017
This Enviro 300 is branded for the Pronto joint service with TrentBarton between Nottingham and Chesterfield. The route has a long history of collaboration between the two operators and their predecessors, once being the 63 operated by East Midland and Trent.
Post deregulation, it was at one stage branded as a Stagecoach service (complete with Trent vehicles in Stagecoach livery), with a complex network of express and stopping services operating as far afield as Sheffield, Doncaster and Leicester, but has now for some time had this neutral branding.
It is however a victim of one of the idiocies of the current deregulated regime. While there is a registered agreement, operators are not allowed to exchange receipts on things like day tickets. Therefore neither operators day tickets or season tickets are valid on the route; even the Robin Hood Network card is not valid, as Stagecoach are not currently in that agreement.
